New Moon in Taurus
Thursday – May 13 – 9:04pm (PST)
First and foremost let us celebrate that Mercury has gone direct.  Good news for moving forward with plans that may have been put on hold for the last few weeks.
Mercury in Taurus until June 11, 2010.

This May New Moon is in the sign of Taurus, the first earth sign, and one that has a healthy relationship with Mother Earth.  Taurus is considered to be the consummate gardener and a good steward to the natural world as it seeks  to cultivate the best personal values as well as needed resources with the four ‘P’s namely; practicality, patience, persistence and perseverance.

We must look to the qualities of Taurus mentioned above and become urban spiritual warriors.  We must search for alternative methods of caring for ourselves, our loved ones and our planet.  Supporting your local economy and slowing down your lifestyle are methods that can be easily integrated into your consciousness.  See www.slowmoney.com and www.slowfood.com for ideas.

As we globally continue to experience natural as well as financial disasters we will require a much different unified awareness.   We are already finding it necessary to search for new ways of doing business as these disasters unfold and demonstrate that what we took for granted with regards to what Mother Nature provided at no cost, will now be costly in ways we never could have imagined.

On a personal level, this New Moon in Taurus can be the start of a new garden for your overall life.  Think about what you want to plant.  Healthy soil, organic seeds, clear clean water, good sunlight.  These are all necessary ingredients for a rich garden.  The same applies to your life.  Taurus moves slowly and steadily; always with practicality in mind. Start by thinking of ways of simplifying your life.  What is practical here?  What and how much do you really need?  How can you become more productive and still live with a richness of spirit.
Make a list of what you want to plant in your life’s garden.  Better food spiritually, emotionally and for your physical body.  More time to celebrate you.  A true commitment to living simply and unencumbered.  Giving back to Mother Earth.  Coming from a place of wealth rather than poverty.
Embrace the four ‘P’s.

Scorpio Full Moon April 28, 2010 – 5:20am – PST

The Scorpio Full Moon on April 28th brings with it some very powerful and intense aspects.  We know that Scorpio is the sign of intensity, privacy and passion.  This sign allows us to investigate and operate deep within our emotional landscape.  We can during this full moon transit, reveal, at least to ourselves, what we know to be true about what kind of value we assign to all that we are.  Taurus, the sign opposite of Scorpio, rules our value system which includes our spiritual, mental, emotional and financial life.  This opposition is asking us to tell our truth.  What is it you truly desire?  What is it you fear about what you desire?  Open your heart and share your desires with the Universal Support System.  Write them down along with your fears.

Remember that the Full Moon occurs when the Sun is opposite the Moon, and brings with it the need for balance and integration between the peaceful harmony and stability of Taurus and the fiery emotional depth of Scorpio.  When opposites meet in the middle it is an opportunity for the coming together of two powerful forces.  In order to achieve the best of what this Full Moon in Scorpio is going to bring, we must do both.  Go to the depths of the Scorpio feelings and balance that with the practicality and stability of the Taurean energy.

With Mercury Retrograde in Taurus and Mars in Leo added to the mix, we will be experiencing a very aggressive and powerful energy charge.  Scorpio, Taurus and Leo are all fixed signs.   Please watch for the next few days that you do not get caught up in anger and frustration.  The Full Moon energy takes at least two days to dissipate.  The emotional intensity will be present during this period.

Remember that journaling your experience is critical.  Also, looking at your personal sacred astrology blueprint is very beneficial as you will be able to determine exactly where this Full Moon energy is taking place in your life according to the house position of Scorpio.

Vision Board Workshop Review

Posted April 13, 2010 by kaycimarie
Categories: Visioning

This weekend my Saturday afternoon was spent at a fabulous workshop on vision boards. The presenters are a couple of friends of mine, MarilynRose Utovac R.N and Barbara A Mignosi M.Ed., M.A.. In addition to private counseling practices they have facilitated many types of workshops for years. The event venue was the Community Room at The Remedy Pharm in Torrance. These ladies will be holding workshops monthly at various venues in the South Bay. If you have been “meaning” to create your Vision Board, I highly recommend you attend one of these gatherings. The price is affordable and is a great value. Everything you need to create your board is there. All that’s required is you and your vision of what you are looking to manifest.

The momentum of a group energy is very helpful. Many of us have good intentions of creating some kind of visual aid in our manifestation process but never get around to it. This is a great way of getting it done with some gusto. The magazines, board, scissors, glue, fellowship and encouragement are all present at this gathering. It’s my experience that something special happens when three or more are gathered with a common interest or focus. If you have heard of this Vision Board concept but have never tried it, this is perfect for you. These presenters are experienced and speak about the concept simply.

I walked away with board in hand and my “cut outs” to be glued at my leisure. (Some did the gluing there…)The event was in perfect divine timing for me. Over the past couple of weeks I have been doing much visioning work with how things are to be in my life. The time with these women today helped to give more tangibility to my vision. It also served as a bit of a review of “what do I really want” and my commitment level to it. With such a busy schedule it is very important to take this kind of time, for me, to be conscious and responsible for what I am co-creating in my life. I plan on returning to another one of these regular events to update my board and create smaller more focused boards for specific areas of manifesting. I am so excited Barbara and MarilynRose are making this available in the community.

Thanks ladies!

Mercury Retrograde in Taurus
April 17, 2010 – May 11, 2010

Mercury Retrograde – Interpretation

A Retrograde planet is a planet that at certain times appears to be moving in a backward motion. Actually it is changing its angular position therefore its action will be more inwardly directed.  During retrograde periods you will find that there are many challenges that have to do with outer communication as Mercury is the planet that governs all of our communication processes.  What is interesting is that our ability to communicate with ourselves is where Mercury Retro becomes a benefit.  Use this time to evaluate, analyze and organize your life as directed by the sign that Mercury is presently traveling through.  Pay close attention to the week before the actual retrograde and complete any and all projects that involve communication and the signing of contracts.  Please note that “life goes on” during retrograde periods and knowing the timing of the retrograde is significant.  Watch for minor unplanned annoyances that could bring delays, upsets and breakdowns.  Make this a period of “’re’s’.  Rescheduling appointments, rewriting agreements and documents, revisiting the past and definitely backing up your computer documentation.

Mercury Retrograde in Taurus

With this Mercury Retro period being in the sign of Taurus (the sign that governs all that we value) pay attention to anything that has to do with finances, security and the spending of money.  Watch those investments that you are about to make.  No impulse buying please.  As this is “tax time”, pay close attention so there are no lost receipts or lost tax paperwork that you are sending off.  Taurus is a fixed and somewhat stubborn sign.  Make sure that tenacity does not turn to stubbornness when making decisions.  Flexibility will be very necessary if you must sign any agreements during this April to May Retrograde.  As stated above this is a time of going inward.  Revisit your entire life’s value system including your spiritual, mental and financial lifestyle.  Find out what is most important to you and why.  This will support you moving forward with a new vision.

New Moon in Aries Fire Sign Red Energy
April 14, 2010 – 5:02am – PST
Aries is fun-loving, exciting, curious and concerned with creating, being pioneers and exhibiting powerful leadership abilities.  With Aries as the first sign of the zodiac, it actually marks the beginning of the astrological new year and does this with fiery action.  Mars is the planet that rules Aries and is considered a warlike energy.   We must be aware that we can also experience anger, frustration and an “I want what I want when I want it” attitude.
Remember that using energy wisely is what real power is all about.  When doing your new moon meditation and exercise answer these important questions.

  • How do I express my power in the world?
  • Where do I put my energy?
  • Do I fear my personal power?
  • Am I ready to be a leader in my life?
Look to your responses to determine if it is time to release or purge yourself of whatever is preventing you from manifesting your personal leadership role.
With this Aries New Moon beginnings are on the horizon.  Transform whatever needs to be transformed in order to create your wonderful NEW beginning.  Get ready to respond to whatever positive exciting energy is knocking on your door.

Astrology for Spiritual Beings on a Human Journey

by Maria Francesca Triliegi

Important March 2010 Astrological Events

New Moon in Pisces

Monday – March 15 – 5:01pm (PST)

Pisces is considered to be the dreamer.  With this New Moon in Pisces we can now bring our sweet and tender dreams to reality.  The energy of this New Moon activates the magical, mystical and artistic and creative world that lives within each of us.  Take this opportunity to bring forth your new ideas and use your intuition as your guide.  Be inspired by the beauty of the Universe as Pisces is the sign of those that see beyond what is obvious.  Watch for information and intuitions that come from your deep dream self as Pisces is the mystic and keeper of secrets.  Your heart can open and you can feel safe to share your goals and dreams.  You may find yourself upsetting your own apple cart as you release through your journaling what you are REALLY feeling about different aspects of your life.

New Moons are for setting new intentions.  With this New Moon in Pisces you can now set your intention to live fully within yourself.  Align your spirit, mind, heart and body to honor all of who you are with a new honesty and integrity that you bring to yourself and others.  The 12th house (where Pisces lives) is the area where we keep that which we hide from the world.  Decide to forgive yourself for those things you are ashamed of and move forward with an open heart.  Pisces is the sign of the compassionate ones.  You can now awaken your compassion and live in the joy of knowing that there is magic all around us.

Full Moon in Libra

Monday – March 29 – 10:25pm (PST)

This Full Moon in Libra with the Sun in Aries demonstrates the balance we must maintain between our own personal view of life and the mirror effect that others bring to us through our relationships with them.  We are clearly experiencing a vortex of conflicting energies coming together.  With Pluto in Capricorn (the father) and the Sun in Aries (the child) it is clear that there will be an internal struggle of wills as you search for new ways to bring justice, harmony and balance (Libra) to all that you do in the day to day.  Remember that Libra is the sign that searches out relationships with the world.   You must decide which of those relationships are serving your highest good.  You must decide now, as we continue to experience and become an intimate part of the disasters and world events occurring all around us, who and what we can support.  It is critical that you focus on assisting others to find their true courage.  It is critical that you believe in the power of the Universe to bring to you those people and situations that honor your individuality as well as your relationships with the world.

The Full Moon encourages us to let go of what is no longer necessary in our lives.  With this Full Moon in Libra, you can release the judgments about others that are keeping you stuck in an old paradigm that does not honor you or them (whomever you are still carrying judgments about).  This is the path to new possibilities.

Remember that journaling is a primary releasing experience as it gives you a vision to focus with.  The more conscious we become of the words we say, the more we deepen our relationship to the words we use so that we speak from a place of emotionally experiencing what we are saying.

Namaste,

Maria Francesca

For me astrology is an elegant way to become more conscious of myself in the brilliance of the ever changing cycles and rhythms of the universe. I feel confident in my knowledge of the movements of the stars and planets and have the reassurance that I am participating in an orderly and secure universe.  This instinctive understanding along with a more elevated state of consciousness always gives me more of a choice to better influence the world around me as I make wiser decisions.

New Moon in Aquarius

Saturday – February 13 – 6:51pm (PST)

This Aquarius New Moon gives us an opportunity to open a new door and to experience life as it really is. A heightened theme with Aquarius here is seeing with the eyes of the Universe.  Along with that, is the near conjunction Neptune in Aquarius is making to the Moon.  It presents one of those special times when everything could change because you’ve elevated your consciousness. With Jupiter in Pisces (the magical artist) here to support you as well, you can become aware of yourself as a divine being with psychic and imaginative powers.  Take the time to write down your goals and desires, describing them to the fullest detail that you can.  Know in your heart that your intuition and imagination are actually more powerful than your intelligence. Even as we continue to explore how this mysterious power works; we are learning very quickly how to fully bring it forward to support our lives. This Aquarius New Moon is instructing you to give over your desires with the realization that YOU are the manifestation of your beliefs.   Remember what we believe is what we receive.

Full Moon in Virgo

Sunday – February 28 – 8:38am (PST)

This Full Moon in Virgo, interestingly enough, continues the New Moon’s instructional as we continue to focus on the discovery of the mystic within.  As Virgo rules the physical body, this discovery will happen through understanding your physicality.  This Full Moon puts your body and its systems into focus, and it’s easier to see cause and effect under Virgo’s watch. Tune into your body, and see what it tells you, either through the sensation known as “pain” or through a new awareness of the power of your chakra system.  Wherever you are being drawn to in your physical body, focus on that area and journal out what is going on.  Ask to be shown what you can now LET GO of and what it is that you can do to eliminate unnecessary emotional responses that continue to drain you physically, spiritually and emotionally.  This Full Moon is asking you to let go of the illusions regarding what you believe you CANNOT accomplish.   Be willing to be shown where you are disconnected from the mystical and magical energy that lives within your body.

Important January 2010 Astrological Events

New Moon in Capricorn

Friday – January 15 – 2:11am

Solar Eclipse

Full Moon in Leo

Saturday – January 30 – 1:18am

Welcome to 2010.  This will be a very interesting, dynamic, dramatic and life altering year.  There are astrological transits and lineups of planets that will occur that have never occurred in our history.  We will need our strength, passion, purpose and ability to respond to be heightened.  I’ll be sharing more of my insights at my yearly astrology lecture and luncheon.  See below for info.

The year starts out with a new moon in the sign of Capricorn.  Capricorn is considered the most responsible of all the earth signs.  What a great opportunity to start the year out affirming that you will be your most responsible; first to yourself and then to the world you live in.  Make out that list of goals and remember that goal setting must include personal commitments to self.  Create the list with short term goals at top.  With positive intention as your mantra, believe and trust that you are capable of accomplishing all that you intend.  A sweet ending to accomplishing goals besides getting the work done is to write thank you across the goal.  I find when I take that extra step; it encourages me to get more done.

At the end of January we will experience our first full moon of the year in the sign of Leo.  The Sun will have moved to the sign of Aquarius late in the day January 19th.  Leo and Aquarius oppose each other and as we know opposites attract.  The coming together of these two dynamic signs will give us the impetus to take the goals we set early in the month to the next stage of completion.  As these two signs are both very creative and somewhat driven by a need to accomplish, this first full moon can assist us in letting go of (eliminating) whatever challenging emotions are sabotaging our striving for success.  Write down your fears, worries and concerns and give them to the full moon Goddess.  Begin the month of February with the strength and passion you will need to move ahead in this tumultuous and exciting year of 2010.

A yearly progression is critical for knowing where the benefits, challenges, changes, spiritual awareness and personal transformation are occurring.  I am available for email and phone readings as well as in person.

New & Full Moon Meditation Process

Posted December 16, 2009 by kaycimarie
Categories: Astrology, Meditation

Full Moon is for releasing what no longer serves your highest good. Those mindsets, habits, situations, or “things”, that you are ready to let go of and have transformed.

New Moon is the time to get your new ideas and goals ready to launch. Think of the mindsets, habits, or goals that you would like to have or achieve in your life.

Meditation Process

Do the following on each night of the New and Full moon.
Write down your intentions on a beautiful piece of paper. Focus on each affirmation of your desires, goals or ideas with powerful and positive intention.

Go outdoors and as you state each goal aloud, look up
at that gorgeous Moon and affirm your desires.  Leave
your writing somewhere outdoors overnight so
that the Moon will energize them for you.

Put your written intentions somewhere safe for the next 28 days and watch the magic occur!

Full Moon in Gemini

December 2 – 2:30 am

 New Moon in Sagittarius

December 16 – 7:02 am

 Second Full Moon in Cancer

New Year’s Eve!

December 31 – 2:13 pm

Lunar Eclipse

The new moon and two full moons in December will bring a wonderful opportunity to communicate your deep truth with love, kindness and compassion.

With the Full Moon in Gemini at the beginning of the month your mission will be to speak your truth in whatever way will feel safe for you.   You must agree that you will finally let go in the deepest way possible any and all sadness, negativity and hopeless challenges that continue to weigh you down.  Gemini is the natural communicator of the zodiac and knows how to speak up and speak out.  In order for this full moon to be of value you must truly be ready and willing to release from your life and your consciousness forever those thoughts, ideas and even relationships that are no longer for your highest good.

With the New Moon in Sagittarius in the middle of the month you will be asked to clarify what it is you are ready to embrace and reach for in 2010.    Sagittarius is considered the archer with a strong sense of righteousness and a need for clarity that can go right to the heart of the matter.  After completing the Gemini exercise on the full moon day, you can now INTEND to bring into your life that which will give you the strength of purpose necessary to move forward into 2010 with excitement and passion.

With another Full Moon in Cancer at the end of the month along with the lunar eclipse, actually on New Year’s Eve, you will be asked to do a final inventory of what it will take for you to become a better care giver.  What habits or ways of being that have been detrimental to your spirit, mind and/or body are you ready to let go of?  Cancer is the natural mother of the zodiac.  What a wonderful sign to end the year with.  Make sure you are surrounded by loved ones that you can nurture and have them nurture you.  Thank every important person and every important experience that brought you to this last day of 2009.  Thank our beautiful Moon Goddess for all she does for you.  Thank yourself for the good mother that lives within you.  Affirm that you will take better care of yourself and your loved ones in 2010.

As we say goodbye to 2009 we must be willing to leave behind the dramatic events of the past year .  We will ask the Universe to open our hearts and minds deeper and further so we can understand how to better live in this brave new world that we are entering.

I wish for you that the month of December will bring the “just right” endings to support the beginning of a new and exciting 2010.
